The pictures above were taken after Eddy had contracted lung cancer.
The rascals and friends got together a couple of times with Eddy for
therapy. It seemed to be as theraputic for David and Ben as it was for
Eddy. The "Rascals" were torn apart by this dreaded disease.
At this
particular session Terry Sumsion (country artist) dropped in to play.
In the lower picture, Terry in the white shirt can be seen beside
Trevor Teed percussionist.
In the upper picture, Eddy is seated beside Ben. Jam sessions at the
White household were a
common thing. Musicians from any persuasion could be there. This jam
session with Eddy was his last. Not long after this picture was taken,
Eddy
passed away. The jazz world lost a great artist.
